UT AMS assistant professor Dr. Lauren Gutterman, along with Sexing History co-host Dr. Gillian Frank, recently penned an article for Jezebel about how flight attendants organized against the "swinging stewardess" stereotype.The pictorial includes several fascinating images and videos, including the Braniff International advertisement above, that illustrate the cultural context in which flight attendants labored and resisted throughout the late-twentieth century.
